Festive mini games - Day 7 "Paper atlas"

This year I am sharing 24 mini games over advent, where the rules can be explained on the back of a single business card. Today's game is called "Paper atlas".

I love little games, that take moments to explain and can be played in 2-15 minutes. So, I set myself a challenge to collect and create as many business card games as possible.

Day 7 "Paper atlas"

Players: 4-12 players
Equipment: 1 napkin per player

Concise rules:
Think of a country, now fold and rip your napkin to represent the country, this could be the outline of the borders or symbolic. Hold it up, the first player to correctly guess the country becomes the napkin crafter. Repeat the action with a new country, no country can be repeated, continue until one player has had 3 napkin countries correctly guessed.

Notes:
Sitting around a dinner table (in a home or restaurant) can be the best time of Christmas but sometimes I find myself with people I don't know or the conversation laps and the time can stretch on. So a handful of the games in this collection was designed to be played at a dinner table, to kill time and get people talking. Many of these dinner table games require no equipment. But one of the things people often have at hand is napkins/serviette. So I wanted to design a little game that works with what people have at hand. But if you go to a fancy meal they may have the cloth napkins and you can only fold the serviette the game is a lot harder.

Of course any game in the vein of pictionary could have limitless prompts. I decided to narrow it down just to countries, to make it more focused and easier for people to both make their napkin designs and easier for the guessers. If players get very rip happy, they will find they have less and less material to work with each round.

(If you make a big mess with ripping up the paper, always make sure you tidy things away a bit)

The jpg below shows the print file used, the print company requires the sections to be embossed in gold to be pure black.
