Festive mini games - Day 12 "Odd or Even"
This year I am sharing 24 mini games over advent, where the rules can be explained on the back of a single business card. Today's game is called "Odd or Even". This is one of those games that sounds so simple it isn't really a game especially if you talk about your decisions as a group. I mean, none of your friends would lie, right?
Day 12 "Odd or Even"
Players: 2-20 players
Equipment: -none-
Concise rules:
Like rock, paper, scissors, on the count of 3 everyone reveals either 1 or 2 fingers, odd or even. Add up the total number of fingers of everyone playing. If the total is odd everyone who voted even is out and vice versa. Repeat until you have a winner.
Notes:
This was designed as a very simple little group game to get people distrusting each other. If you think about the options and count up who is playing. If everyone agrees to do the same thing, you can work out the total and ensure everyone wins. I mean unless you want to be the only winner. Then you might want to lie to your friends, back stab them and win. No one will expect it or will they? Maybe you can double bluff them. What if they betray you?
It's a quick easy game and wont hold peoples attention all evening but it hopefully can bring a little competitive fun.
